Double Q is Farmington Community Radio, a FCC Part 15 authorized low power radio station at 106.3 MHz on the dial. As a Part 15 station, and not a traditional broadcast station, Double Q may or may not be 'on the air' at any given time. Double Q 106. 3 MHz is a Part 15 authorized radio station in
Farmington, IA. Double Q is operated in compliance of the Federal Communications
Commission's rules, in Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Key provision of
FCC Part 15 rules that pertain to Double Q. As a result, our coverage area is but a mere
fraction of what a full power licensed broadcaster's range would be. Double Q enjoys
temporary authority via FCC ID: DLB5LTT98 which allows operation of a 'low power AM'
transmitter with up to 100mW RF output power. FM 'low power FM' Transmitter
with up to 500mW(or 1/2 Watt) RF output power, at 106.3 MHz.
